Legal Research and Writing Services

We stand ready to research issues that arise during all phases of your practice, including issues pertaining to real estate law, corporate matters, environmental law, contract matters, labor law issues, covenants not to compete, trade secret cases, cases involving unfair and deceptive trade practices, fraud or negligent misrepresentation, issues arising from personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice suits, immunity issues, cases brought under the North Carolina Tort Claims Act. In short, if the assigning attorney identifies any legal issue requiring immediate research, we will run it to ground. Findings may be delivered in a written memorandum or verbally, depending on the preference of the assigning attorney. If a brief, pleading, affidavit or motion is the necessary end product of the legal research, we have that covered as well. We are available on short notice and can work late into the night or all weekend to get your job done and meet applicable deadlines.

During the practice of law innumerable legal issues arise that demand an immediate answer. In the time it takes to make a phone call we can begin to research such issues and get an answer to you as soon as possible. Similarly, if you have a pleading, motion or other legal document that you just cannot find the time to prepare, we stand ready to assist you. We have drafted literally hundreds of pleadings, motions, briefs and other legal documents in the federal and state courts of New York and North Carolina. If you find yourself in a time crunch, we can make your life a lot easier by getting these nagging tasks off your plate and onto ours.

For assignments on a deadline, such as motions and briefs, Mark will provide the assigning attorney-client with a draft document no later than 48 hours before the document needs to be filed or served so far as time permits. This will afford the client-attorney to make any changes or revisions to the document before it is filed or served.

Mark also has experience creating effective, compelling, relevant and current website and blog content for attorney internet sites. Regardless of your practice area, Mark can bring life, vitality and optimized content to your website.
